TV Special
Description
Shizuku Sangō, Student Council President at Seitetsu High and one of the Three Beauties, commands significant influence, particularly among the girls, enabling actions like unquestioned transfers. She maintains perfect attendance and projects unwavering calm, control, and confidence, often perceived as calculating or cold. This composure defines her even in her transformed Kämpfer state.
As a Red Kämpfer of the Schwert type, she wields two chained daggers, Schwertbrecher, whose extending chains allow combat at varied distances. Her fighting style blends precision with acrobatic agility, enabling fluid attacks from any position. In this form, the inner layer of her long black hair turns silver, visible only from the front. Assisted by her Messenger, the Electrocuted Wildcat plush, she deduces fellow Kämpfers' identities through observation and interrogation.
Her objective is uncovering the purpose behind the Kämpfer battles. Resenting manipulation by the Moderators, she seeks to dismantle the system, motivated partly by the death of a close friend, also a Red Kämpfer. After defeat by Natsuru Senō and Akane Mishima, she agrees to a truce to spare Kaede Sakura. This evolves into a formal alliance with Blue Kämpfers Natsuru and Akane, plus fellow Red Kämpfer Mikoto Kondō, violating Kämpfer rules and prompting Moderator retaliation via the White Kämpfer.
Her relationship with Natsuru grows complex. Post-truce, she develops romantic feelings, deliberately teasing him with provocative remarks and actions while maintaining her composed facade. Key interactions include stealing his first kiss, inviting him on dates, and kissing him passionately in public. Despite genuine affection, Natsuru often misinterprets her advances as scheming, causing mutual frustration. She exhibits jealousy witnessing Kaede's closeness with Natsuru.
Beneath her control lie vulnerabilities. She openly acknowledges her unrequited love for Natsuru. Her resolve against the Moderators stems from personal loss, her deceased friend's memory fueling her rebellion. Her arc concludes differently across media: light novels show heartfelt sorrow when Natsuru chooses Akane, while the manga depicts him selecting her, shown holding hands. Her strategic acumen and composure remain central throughout.
