Description
Villar Constance, Earl of Altirk, stood as a prominent lord in the Fantasia Union and cousin to Marrine Kreische, a pivotal leader of the rival Factory Alliance. Infamously dubbed the “Lustful Earl,” he drew scrutiny for contracting solely with young female mages from the academy, severing ties once they turned twenty-five. Yet this reputation masked a covert intent: shielding these women from persecution by factions threatened by their growing power, unveiling a layer of pragmatism beneath his scandalous façade.

A strategist bound by honor, Villar championed ethical rule and loyalty above ambition. He refused leadership of the Fantasia Union to prevent war with his cousin Marrine, despite mounting tensions between their factions. This choice eroded backing from allies like Milza Kuces, culminating in his assassination. His devoted forces, refusing allegiance to successors, embraced defiance or death—a testament to his unyielding influence.

His tactical brilliance shone during clashes with Waldlind and Marrine. Feigning neutrality, he lured their armies into overextension, then shattered them with a calculated counterstrike that seized territory and forged temporary pacts with Theo Cornaro and Siluca Meletes. This triumph showcased his mastery of balancing principle with ruthless strategy.

After his death, loyal vassals and allies forged the Altirk Treaty, vowing to reclaim his lands from the Factory Alliance and uphold his vision of peace. Initially autonomous, the Treaty later merged with Theo’s campaign to unify the continent.

Villar’s lineage included brothers Selge and Igor Constance, deceased parents Lucien and Floria, and grandfather Jurgen Kreische. His bond with Margaret Odius—a contracted mage and Siluca’s former peer—weaved personal intricacy into his political machinations. His legacy endured through the Treaty bearing his domain’s name and the unbroken loyalty of his followers, etching his impact eternally into the continent’s fractured alliances.
