Description
Ryō Magami is an artificial human classified as an "Erbsünde," one of countless identical clones engineered by the scientist Faust as soldiers for global conquest. Designated "Number MK174," he revolted against his creators, killed his original template, and fled his programmed destiny. This origin inflicts deep trauma, provoking extreme aggression when his past is referenced.

He operates as a core member of Skull Force’s elite Death Caprice Squad, partnering exclusively with Ken Kaidou to pilot the mechanized unit Mazinkaiser SKL. Using the codename "Lucifer 4," he handles Skull Pilder aircraft operations and directs Mazinkaiser SKL’s combat systems, specializing in ranged weapon deployment.

Physically, he has black hair, pale skin, and a resemblance to Duke Fleed. His standard outfit is a modified Skull Force uniform with dual pistol holsters, sometimes layered with a gray overcoat. Earlier manga depictions feature him in a lab coat.

His demeanor is typically cool, controlled, and nihilistic, but combat ignites fierce exhilaration and vitality. He prioritizes violent confrontation over diplomacy and shows marked disregard for personal safety, though less extreme than his partner’s. References to his cloned existence trigger uncontrollable rage, creating tactical weaknesses; only Ken Kaidou can restrain these outbursts, highlighting their unique bond.

He excels in Gun Kata, a hybrid combat style fusing firearms with melee strikes, wielding twin pistols for precision shots and physical blows. This skill extends to piloting Mazinkaiser SKL, where he commands its Breast Trigger weapons—chest-mounted guns with integrated blades for combined ranged and close-quarters attacks.

His development revolves around confronting his origins. During a mission on Machine Island, adversaries Garan and Himiko expose his cloned nature, causing a violent episode quelled by Ken. This triggers a psychological encounter with a manifestation of his past self. His arc concludes in *Mazinkaiser SKL Versus*, where he battles another surviving Faust clone, rejects fatalism, accepts his history, and destroys both the clone and its mecha to claim autonomy. Post-series, ancillary media notes his marriage to Aira, leader of the Hachiryoukaku faction.
