Description
Sui Orla is a 26-year-old male from the Gastark Empire, recognizable by his pink hair, blue eyes, tall lanky frame, and frequent use of a comb accessory. He is the elder brother of Kuu Orla, often traveling alongside them. Sui maintains a superficially courteous and friendly mask, though cowardice sometimes surfaces in serious situations, earning Kuu's reprimands. Beneath this facade lies a ruthless core; he eliminates witnesses to his activities and collects crystallized eyes from bearers of cursed eyes as trophies. These eyes are later weaponized by Gastark.
As nobility within the Gastark Empire, Sui shares in its tragic history of invasion and war crimes suffered at the hands of Stohl, which caused widespread familial loss. This collective trauma forged deep loyalty and unity among Gastark's citizens, who regard each other as family. They pursue world conquest, believing extreme measures are necessary to prevent global destruction, adhering to a philosophy prioritizing "the needs of the many."
Beyond combat, Sui aspires to be an author. In battle, he wields conventional magic and Rule Fragments. His initial weapon is the "Comb of Elemio," capable of nullifying magic. After Ryner Lute discards it, Sui acquires the "Blade of Dolueli," enabling him to summon draconic forces, transforming his arm into a dragon's head to spew fire. He later employs a red-bladed variant.
Sui possesses expertise in cursed eyes, especially the Alpha Stigma. He forces bearers into berserk states using crystallized eyes to resonate with their abilities, aiming to extract and collect their eyes. He employs this tactic against Ryner Lute during their second encounter. However, Sui underestimates Ryner's unique Alpha Stigma: Ryner berserks, gravely wounds Sui, severs his hand, and destroys the Comb of Elemio. Kuu rescues Sui.
Later, Miran Froaude fatally wounds Sui in another conflict. Ryner intervenes to prevent Froaude from finishing him, and Kuu extracts Sui once more. On a subsequent mission directed by Refal Edia, Sui attempts to retrieve Kiefer Knolles, culminating in a confrontation where Ril Orla seemingly kills Ryner. Despite his physical and strategic setbacks, Sui persists with his characteristic polite demeanor.
His relationships are defined by loyalty to Gastark and his siblings. He coordinates closely with Kuu during missions, though their dynamic involves shifting leadership roles, with Kuu often asserting dominance. Sui's actions consistently align with Gastark's objectives and their extreme measures against perceived existential threats.
