Description
Tiir Rumibul wields the Lino Doue, a Cursed Eye known among its users as God’s Eye. This power lets him drain magic and life essence to fuel heightened strength, rapid regeneration, and combat mastery. Born with this ability, he unintentionally consumed his mother in the womb—a grisly origin he claims is common for Lino Doue bearers. The curse bars him from ordinary magic, forcing relentless absorption to maintain his capabilities.

His history intertwines with Claugh Klom, a Roland military officer. In their initial clash, Tiir devoured Claugh’s arm yet spared his life. Later confrontations saw Claugh repeatedly regrowing the limb through forbidden magic, only for Tiir to dominate each battle, showcasing tactical precision mingled with calculated mercy.

Driven by hatred for Gastark’s persecution of Cursed Eye bearers, Tiir rallies others like himself, creating a refuge and makeshift family. As their leader, he balances ruthless efficiency with unexpected tenderness—rescuing hunted children, honing domestic skills like cooking, and fiercely shielding his group.

A turning point arises when he crosses paths with Ryner Lute, a fellow Cursed Eye bearer. Tiir seeks alliance, appealing to shared persecution, but their bond shifts during skirmishes against Sion Astal and Lir Orla. When Lir Orla assaults their sanctuary, killing Lafra—a comrade—Tiir’s vengeful fury flares, tempered only by Ryner’s intervention.

Initially viewing humanity as uniformly hostile, Tiir’s perspective fractures upon encountering allies like Ryner and Ferris, who defy his expectations. Reluctantly, he forges pragmatic truces with human factions, acknowledging shared enemies like Gastark.

The Lino Doue enables him to leech ambient magic or directed spells, converting stolen energy into bursts of speed, power, and healing. While devastating against magic-reliant foes, prolonged non-magical combat strains him. His regeneration mends impalement and severed limbs, though fatal decapitation remains untested.

Later, under Ene Lune of the God’s Eyes, Tiir adopts a strategic role. Tasked with assassinating Lieral Lieutolu—a magic-enhanced target—his mission capitalizes on his anti-magic prowess. Ene’s faith in his leadership potential clashes with his own doubts, mirroring his struggle between perceived flaws and external demands.

Tiir’s arc traces a path from vengeful isolation to uneasy collaboration, rooted in trauma and the yearning for belonging. His extremes—violence juxtaposed with loyalty—underscore the narrative’s tension between marginalized groups and societal norms, anchored by his relentless drive to secure safety for his kind.
