Her life shattered when the Astraea Familia was ambushed on the dungeon's 27th Floor. A trap by the Rudra Familia unleashed the Juggernaut, slaughtering nearly everyone except Ryuu and the goddess Astraea. Consumed by vengeance, Ryuu hunted down and eliminated the Rudra Familia and associated Evilus members over two months, becoming a fugitive stripped of adventurer status. Severely injured and near death, she collapsed in an alley but was found by Syr Flover and nursed to health by Mia Grand. She gained employment at the Hostess of Fertility, dyeing her naturally long, golden-blonde hair green to hide for five years. Initially stoic and reserved, Ryuu maintained a strict demeanor, gradually softening around trusted tavern colleagues. Her sense of justice, instilled by Alise and Astraea, compelled her to intervene to protect others. Unlike many elves, she held no resentment toward the Crozzo family. A pivotal moment came when Bell Cranel, the third person able to touch her hand without objection, drew her attention, partly influenced by Alise's advice about such connections. Surviving a shared four-day ordeal in the dungeon's deep floors, injured and confronting the Juggernaut, forged a profound bond with Bell.
