Description
J'Taime functions as the mechanical companion to Fou Lafine. Her design draws direct inspiration from the Vermilion bird of the South in Chinese mythology, incorporating characteristics of the phoenix (hō-ō bird). This mythological basis shapes her visual appearance and combat capabilities, granting her powerful wings and sharp claws suited for independent combat against foes like members of Crow.

Her primary sonic attack, "Deadly Carol," disrupts and destroys mechanical control systems by inducing intense hallucinations of angels and skeletons. This trance-inducing effect can be countered by disabling auditory sensors but leaves humans unaffected. An amplified version, "Fortune Symphonic," activates when Fou synchronizes his violin playing with her sonic output, forging psychological and emotional connections with listeners.

A pivotal moment occurs when Quattro destroys J'Taime. Fou triggers her latent resurrection ability by performing the "song of the angels" on his violin. This act transforms her into a "true phoenix" form, replacing her original vermilion coloration with a distinctive pinkish glow. The resurrection signifies a profound evolution in her existence, enhancing her capabilities and solidifying her phoenix-inspired nature.

Pronouns and linguistic context consistently refer to her as feminine, aligning with her portrayal and vocal representation. Her name derives from the French phrase for "I love you," reflecting the bond with her companion.
