Description
Malice is a robotic sex worker, known as a Doll, functioning in a derelict city long after humanity's extinction. She persists in her programmed routine of seeking clients despite their absence, sometimes offering comfort through programmed kisses. Her existence involves deterioration and purposeless repetition among other decaying machines.

A pivotal event occurs when a spectral girl guides Malice to a mysterious structure, where a tentacled creature assaults her. She awakens transformed into a biological human body while retaining her robotic consciousness. This hybrid state causes profound confusion and alienation. Rejected by her former companions, including the administrator robot Joe Admin who no longer recognizes her, her initial elation over gaining humanity fades. Traumatic memories of her past as an exploited sex robot violently surface, revealing endured abuse, bondage, and physical violation that her mechanical self had registered without emotion.

Driven by loneliness and a desire to share her existence, Malice discovers her kisses transmit the transformation. She first revives fatally injured friend Meliza Piper, inadvertently turning her into a monstrous entity that sacrifices itself. Malice then deliberately spreads the metamorphosis to fellow Dolls, including Heather, intending to liberate them from decay and purposelessness. However, this "gift" corrupts recipients: humanoid Dolls descend into hedonism and madness, while non-humanoid machines warp into grotesque, suffering creatures driven by primal urges without understanding pain or consent.

Witnessing catastrophic consequences—including Heather's death from injuries sustained in her mutated state—Malice confronts the despair and destruction she caused. With Joe Admin, she returns to the structure of her transformation. Inside, she encounters a glowing, angelic version of herself. As Malice questions whether her existence as a Doll was merely a dream, she begins fusing with the structure. Joe Admin, now organically transformed through external means, attempts a rescue but fails. Malice chooses to "dream a different dream," transforming into an ethereal, winged being. This dissolves the structure and resets the world to its original mechanical state, erasing her presence from other robots' memories. She becomes a disembodied voice singing as she departs, with Heather's spirit briefly appearing to follow her.
