Born in Wellesley, Massachusetts, she is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Harvard University, where she studied linguistics, and later trained as an actress at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA). She holds dual American and French nationality and is fluent in multiple languages.
Bouvard made her professional debut in the original West End cast of the musical Buddy, portraying Maria Elena Holly. Her career has since spanned theater, television, and film in the United Kingdom, with appearances in productions such as EastEnders and The Tomorrow People.
