Description
Bell, a 16-year-old Pluto colony student, navigates a precarious social hierarchy: his father’s employment under Howard’s family corporation forces him into reluctant compliance with Howard’s demands, fearing retaliation against his family. Though physically robust, Bell struggles with self-doubt, habitually suppressing his own needs to assist others—even enduring injury to complete tasks like igniting fires.

Stranded on a desolate planet post-crash, he relies on a survival-equipped fanny pack and fragmented knowledge inherited from his father’s pioneering background, though his inexperience limits their application. Gradually shedding subservience, Bell challenges Howard’s exploitation and embraces autonomy, driven by both collective hardships and his affection for Luna. His hesitant courtship peaks in a symbolic proposal during episode 40, though Luna’s reaction remains unresolved.

By the narrative’s end, Bell channels his resilience into leadership, aiding Albion’s colonization efforts. His evolution—from constrained obedience to self-directed agency—underscores a resolve to redefine his identity beyond familial limitations, anchored by hard-won confidence and the lessons of survival.
