Description
Lille Barro is a Quincy and a member of the Wandenreich's Sternritter, bearing the designation X: The X-Axis. He serves as the leader of the Schutzstaffel, Yhwach's elite royal guard, and is the first Quincy to have been granted a Schrift by Yhwach himself. Lille Barro is a tall, dark-skinned man with short white hair and a closed left eye marked by an X-shaped crosshair tattoo. He speaks in a slightly childish manner, referring to himself as "boku," and possesses an extremely arrogant and conceited personality. He views himself as a divine messenger, Yhwach's greatest creation, and the being closest to God. While calm and cruel in battle, he becomes irritable and enraged when his plans are thwarted, and he obeys only Yhwach's commands. His absolute loyalty to Yhwach is his primary motivation, believing in his own superiority and the righteousness of his cause.
In the story of the Thousand-Year Blood War, Lille Barro is a major antagonist who participates in the invasion of the Soul King Palace and later battles the Gotei 13 in Seireitei. He faces Captain-Commander Shunsui Kyōraku in a protracted conflict, which forces Kyōraku to unleash his Bankai. Lille Barro's key relationships include his master Yhwach, whom he reveres, and his opponents Shunsui Kyōraku and Nanao Ise. Nanao Ise ultimately defeats him by using the ancient ceremonial sword Hakkyōken, which can reflect attacks of a divine nature. Throughout the war, Lille Barro undergoes significant development as his power is amplified by Yhwach's Auswählen, unlocking the full extent of his abilities.

He can also use a technique called Shadow Domain to teleport between shadows and infiltrate locations. Upon activating his Vollständig, which he names Jilliel, his appearance transforms into an eight-winged angelic form, rendering him immune to physical damage and Kidō. After suffering fatal damage from Shunsui Kyōraku's Bankai, he enters a final monstrous bird form with eight hollow wings, where he can create weapons arbitrarily and use powerful attacks such as Judgment Light and God's Trumpet, a giant reishi trumpet that annihilates everything in its sound wave. Even after this form is defeated, his body splits into numerous bird-like fragments that continue to attack. Lille Barro's abilities make him one of the most formidable Quincies in Yhwach's army, displaying both overwhelming offensive power and near-invulnerability.
