Description
Bison is the primary antagonist in the anime film adaptation, commanding the international criminal organization Shadowlaw in its pursuit of global domination through illicit activities like drug smuggling, arms trafficking, and terrorism. His ultimate objective is forcibly recruiting the world's strongest martial artists by abducting and brainwashing them into loyal operatives, deploying human-like Monitor Cyborgs to covertly record combat data on global candidates.

He fixates on recruiting Ryu after witnessing footage of Ryu's victory over Sagat. When initial efforts to locate Ryu fail, Bison targets Ken Masters due to Ken's association with Ryu. Bison personally oversees Ken's capture, subjecting him to psychic torture and mental conditioning to enforce obedience. The brainwashed Ken becomes bait to lure Ryu.

Bison wields immense physical prowess augmented by Psycho Power—a supernatural energy granting flight, teleportation, energy projection, and defensive shielding. His combat style merges formidable hand-to-hand techniques with these abilities, rendering him nearly invincible. He exhibits extreme arrogance, dismissing challengers contemptuously. After effortlessly defeating Interpol agent Chun-Li's partner Guile, he spares Guile's life solely to humiliate him.

In the climactic confrontation near the Thai-Laos border, Bison pits brainwashed Ken against Ryu. When Ryu breaks Ken's mental control through combat, Bison furiously attacks Ken with Psycho Power before engaging Ryu. Initially dominating Ryu with martial skill and Psycho Power, Bison temporarily forgoes supernatural advantages to fight both on purely physical terms. Despite his confidence, Ryu and Ken overwhelm him. Their simultaneous Hadoken strikes obliterate Bison and his personal aircraft in a cataclysmic explosion.

A post-credits sequence reveals Bison survived. He reappears driving a truck, attempting to run down Ryu, who leaps toward the vehicle to resume their conflict as the screen cuts to black.

Bison displays traits of megalomania and psychopathy: showing no empathy, delighting in others' suffering, and viewing individuals as tools for his ambitions. His authoritarian leadership manifests in shoving subordinates aside, ignoring scientific advice, and ordering operative Vega's assassination for inadequately eliminating Chun-Li. He refers to himself in the third person during triumphs, reinforcing his self-aggrandizing worldview. His appearance mirrors his game depiction: a tall figure in a red military uniform with silver accents, a peaked cap bearing Shadowlaw's winged skull insignia, and a dark cape.
