Description
Tomomi Murashita, a 17-year-old aspiring filmmaker and scriptwriter with vibrant orange hair and warm brown eyes, shares an apartment with Yui Takanaka and Mai Yumekano, forming an inseparable trio. Her name, fusing “wisdom, intellect” and “beautiful,” echoes her sharp creativity and resolute spirit. Driven by a fervor for directing, she negotiates with Shogo Yahagi to feature the experimental Garland motorcycle-mecha in her amateur film, intending to expose its classified existence through her art. Scouting abandoned urban ruins, she repurposes their eerie desolation into evocative filming sets. Her meticulous documentation of the Garland’s capabilities results in a completed film, but government agents intercept her immediately after editing, silencing her permanently to suppress the truth.

Her death fractures the group: Mai withdraws emotionally, retreating to her influential father’s sphere, while Shogo and Yui channel grief into defiance against the authorities. Though her presence is fleeting, Tomomi’s ambition and abrupt end propel the narrative’s turning points, underscoring the peril of confronting systemic power. Her legacy persists solely through these ripples, unchronicled beyond this pivotal arc.
