Tosawi Piovani is an Italian voice actress, born Tosawi Narhon Joia Piovani Zoia in Milan on May 10, 1977. She began her career in voice work at the age of nine, initially dubbing commercials before expanding into more substantial roles in television series and animation. She was active in the dubbing industry, primarily based in Milan, until her retirement in 2009.
Piovani was frequently cast to voice young, cute female characters in anime series during the 2000s. Her extensive filmography includes numerous prominent roles in Italian-dubbed versions of popular anime. She is known for being the first Italian voice of Ai Haibara in the series Detective Conan for over two hundred episodes, and the first voice of Dawn in the Pokémon anime series, specifically in the Diamond and Pearl seasons. Her work in the Pokémon franchise also included the roles of Lucinda, Casey, and Marina. Other significant anime roles include Mao and Hilary in Beyblade, Moegi in Naruto, Tsubasa in His and Her Circumstances, and Rein in Fushigiboshi no Futago Hime.
