Description
Mikoto Utsugi serves as a central computer operator for the Gutsy Geoid Guard, later the Gutsy Galaxy Guard. She spearheads critical combat operations, launching GaoMachines, activating Final Fusion, deploying the Dividing Driver, and enabling the Goldion Hammer by releasing its safety device. Her role proves indispensable to GGG's mechanized units against extraterrestrial threats.
Her parents perished during EI-01's initial assault on Tokyo. Unbeknownst to Mikoto or GGG, EI-01 implanted a Zonder spore within her then. This spore developed gradually, causing dizziness and blackouts near the end of the 31 Machine Primevals invasion. One month after the Z-Master's defeat, the spore fully awakened, transforming Mikoto into the New Machine Species Zonuda. In this form, she drained all power from the GGG Orbit Base. Though Guy Shishioh contained her within half the vessel Amaterasu, she seized control, escaping to Earth and landing in Tokyo. A battle erupted between Zonuda and GaoGaiGar. Witnessing Mamoru Amami's sacrifice weakened Zonuda's Barrier System, allowing GaoGaiGar victory. Guy, merging his power with Mamoru's, purified Mikoto, turning her into a Semi-Evoluder.
Purified, Mikoto resumed her GGG duties. She later contracted Palparepa's Paras Particles, which numbed minds. Her Semi-Evoluder abilities enabled independent repair of her damaged nerve cells, facilitating recovery. After communicating with Papillon Noir, she traveled to the GaoFighGar wreckage, meeting Mamoru. Together they went to Mont Saint-Michel, aiding Renais Kerdif-Shishioh and Soldato J-002 against Pia Decem, Pillnus, and Palus Abel. She and Mamoru then boarded Repli-GaoFighGar to assist in purifying Evoluder Guy. Its destruction during an external battle forced Mikoto, Mamoru, and Guy to escape in one half of LinerGao II, reaching the G-Crystal. Mikoto observed Guy's return with the resurrected Galeon and executed the Genesic Drive program during Genesic GaoGaiGar's formation. This resulted in her being struck by a Sol Wave, leaving her comatose and near death. From this state, she communicated via the Limpid Channel with Guy and Papillon.
