Description
Machine Commander Robo is a powerful rescue robot within the Machine Robo Rescue organization. Created by Professor Tōru Suidōbashi, it transforms into the Machine Commander spacecraft. This configuration splits into three flight-capable units: MC-001 Red Commander, MC-002 Blue Commander, and MC-003 Yellow Commander, piloted by the Leader Robo and Robo Masters of the Red Wings, Yellow Gears, and Blue Sirens teams. Any Robo Master can rotate into the main cockpit during emergencies, and the spaceship features a central meeting room.

Combining with V-Stealth Robo forms Machine Commander Robo V, activating the MRR Victory Plan. This combination generates new capabilities, including the Wind Tornado technique for firefighting and a shield to absorb and redirect energy attacks.

Its operational history began with its first deployment resolving a crisis on the International Space Station, where giant plants attacked the crew. It transported cadets armed with acid to eliminate the threat and rescued Taiyou Ohzora after he was blown out of an airlock. It later aided in lunar rescue operations.

The robot played pivotal roles in disaster responses: combating artificially induced earthquakes in South America, clearing collapsed bridges to prevent flooding, and evacuating populations during volcanic eruptions. It also engaged in direct combat against antagonists like Colonel Hazard and the BL Machine Robo series.

A significant narrative involves its interactions with Jay and V-Stealth Robo. After Jay hijacked the Red Commander module, Machine Commander Robo rescued V-Stealth Robo from an underwater volcano while repelling Gura Gorro attacks. Later, during a training exercise with V-Stealth Robo, it was shot down by Hell Island. Recharged and saved through the Victory Plan combination, it successfully rescued a fishing vessel.

Its advanced AI was temporarily disabled by an engine resonance frequency from the liner Poseidon, forcing cadets to rely on Supporter Robo until repairs were completed. It later defended Earth from the microwave beam weapon of the Sunrise 1 satellite by combining with V-Stealth Robo to absorb and redirect the energy.

During the final confrontation with Kaiser-G, Machine Commander Robo and other units created a distraction enabling cadets to plant explosives inside Kaiser-G. Joined by Shuttle Robo and V-Stealth Robo, they formed Machine Commander Robo V to destroy the device pulling the meteorite Tartarus toward Earth, defeating Kaiser-G.

Supplemental material lists its height as 22.0 meters, weight as 293 tons, and capacity for 12 crew members.
