Jet Robo serves as an aerial rescue specialist in the Machine Robo Rescue organization, directly partnered with the young Robo Master Taiyou Ozora. Assigned to the Red Wings team specializing in fire and aerial emergencies, the robot transforms between a jet aircraft mode and a humanoid robot form. In its standard configuration, it executes rescue missions independently or alongside Taiyou.

To enhance capabilities for complex operations, Jet Robo combines with four smaller Sky Robo units. This combination creates the more powerful Hyper Jet Robo, standing approximately 152 millimeters tall when assembled. The combination process permits different configurations tailored to mission priorities, such as mobility or power, leveraging a modular design for functional adaptability during rescue scenarios.

Throughout operations, Jet Robo exhibits responsiveness and coordination with its assigned Robo Master.
