Description
Mimirin Midorihara is a white anthropomorphic snowshoe hare with pink inner ears, black ear tips, a forehead hair tuft, a pink nose, and a prominent buck tooth. Her appearance evolved throughout the series. She initially wore a yellow puffy-sleeved shirt under a red overall dress with a red flower earring. This shifted to a pink top featuring a yellow collar and cyan skirt during the *Hakken Taiken Daisuki! Shimajiro* period. In *Shimajiro no Wao!*, she adopted her signature look: a grey polka-dotted dress with a grey waist belt, a pink cardigan, blue socks, and pink Mary-Jane shoes, replacing the red flower with a pink ribbon beside her left ear. Summer versions of her outfits use lighter fabrics and shorter sleeves or skirts, occasionally paired with a tan sunhat.

Gentle, naive, and lively, Mimirin also exhibits spoiled, clumsy, and crybaby tendencies. Despite her rabbit identity, she dislikes carrots and fears snakes, caterpillars, and insects. Her interests include strawberry shortcake (her trademark favorite), dolls, flowers, and racing—where she excels as the fastest among her peers. She shows bravery in forming friendships but reacts strongly when her opinions are ignored, sometimes displaying unexpected physical strength when provoked. An aspiring singer, she has also expressed interest in becoming a nurse or florist.

Mimirin is an only child living on Challenge Island, where her family runs Flower Shop Midorihara. Her parents are Sota (a florist) and Renge (the more responsible parent). She attends Challenge Kindergarten and formed early friendships with Shimajiro Shimano, Torippii Sorano, and Ramurin Makiba. After Ramurin’s departure from Challenge Island during the *Hesoka* series finale, Mimirin became the sole main character without siblings. Ramurin’s farewell gift—a pink ribbon—replaced Mimirin’s original flower accessory as a keepsake.

Her character development is reflected in evolving relationships and resilience. She maintains supportive bonds with Shimajiro and later befriends newcomers like Nyakkii Momoyama, Marurin Sasaki, Kikko Hayashida, and Sakurako Koinuma. Cross-dressing experiences, such as participating in Hinamatsuri celebrations, and a referenced incident involving her mother’s makeup leading to a cosmetic mishap, highlight her willingness to try new things despite occasional missteps. Her name "Midorihara" combines "green" (midori) and "field" (hara), while "Mimirin" incorporates "ears" (mimi) and "dignified" (rin).

Additional details include her birthdate (October 10, Libra zodiac), blood type B, and sharing a Japanese voice actress with Hana Shimano. She remains the only main character without siblings following Ramurin’s exit.
