Description
Megatron commands the Decepticons with an insatiable hunger for conquest and power, relentlessly seeking to subjugate any superior force, bend it to his will, and absorb its strength. He demands absolute loyalty from his troops, crushing opposition and insubordination with savage violence. Yet he cloaks this barbarism in regal militaristic formality, addressing close subordinates as "gentlemen" with calculated politeness and intelligent speech. Self-aware of his own madness, he presents himself as a sophisticated, ruthless tyrant. His singular weakness is an all-consuming obsession with archrival Optimus Prime; without Prime as his ultimate challenge, he perceives the universe as devoid of meaningful conflict. Millions of years before the main conflict, Megatron ignited the Cybertronian civil war by betraying a truce.
