Futaba Amitaka is a quiet and reserved high school student, one of ten reincarnated warriors destined to combat supernatural threats. Her primary method of attack utilizes specialized paper charms. She attends school alongside fellow warriors Jingo Kazamatsuri and Hagiri Ranba, belonging to a club dedicated to their duties. When hostile entities attack their bus, Futaba teams up with Jingo and Hagiri to fend off the assault and protect fellow passengers. Later, during a trip to a pool amusement park, the group faces another ambush, forcing another coordinated defense.

Futaba demonstrates a personal interest in another warrior, Jutto Sego. Following the kidnapping of Kokono Kifu by the antagonist Yumegiri, Futaba joins the rescue mission with her warrior companions. This operation culminates in a confrontation where Kokono and Jutto ultimately defeat Yumegiri. Her abilities and actions consistently focus on combat support through her paper charms, aligning with her role within the warrior group.
