Description
**Ashuraman** leads the Six Devil Knights as their head chief and holds the title of Demon Realm prince. His design draws from Hindu-Buddhist mythology, featuring blue skin, six arms, and three distinct facial expressions: smiling, angry, and cold; anime adaptations depict him with a lighter tan complexion. Initially embodying the brutal, merciless traits of a Devil Chojin, he demonstrates strategic cunning in combat, notably stealing opponents' arms to replace severed limbs. This ability carries a vulnerability: the original owners can manipulate stolen limbs if alive. His signature technique, the Ashura Buster, directly imitates Kinnikuman's Kinniku Buster.
During the Golden Mask Arc, Ashuraman participated in stealing the Kinniku Clan's sacred Golden Mask. He battled Terryman within Warsman's subconscious, regenerating his severed arms by stealing Terryman's, resulting in a double count-out. Following Akuma Shogun's revival, Ashuraman was decapitated as punishment for his defeat and absorbed into his master. He later resurfaced in the Dream Chojin Tag Tournament, forming the "Stray Devil Chojin Combo" with his long-term tag partner, Sunshine. Their partnership, famous throughout Hell, involved a plot using cursed dolls and a betrayal box to drain Friendship Power from Justice Chojin, successfully turning allies like Kinnikuman and Terryman against each other. During their match against the Muscle Brothers, Ashuraman witnessed Sunshine's genuine concern after accidentally injuring him, prompting internal conflict. He sternly reminded Sunshine of their devilish nature, demanding indifference to weakness, yet their subsequent technique to revive Akuma Shogun failed due to Sunshine's wavering resolve.
In the Survivor Match for the Kinniku Throne Arc, Ashuraman aligned with Team Soldier, representing Ataru Kinniku (Kinnikuman Soldier). His match against Satan Cross ended in a double knockout. Post-tournament, he facilitated a peace treaty between Justice, Devil, and Perfect Chojin, a ruse to lure the Perfect Large Numbers away from the Chojin Graveyard. Despite this return to antagonism, his relationship with Sunshine remained significant. Before a match against the Blood Evolutions in *Kinnikuman Nisei*, Sunshine offered to partner again, but Ashuraman refused. In this sequel, he fully reverted to his evil roots as a member of the Demon Seed.
His abilities extend beyond arm theft and regeneration. He employs techniques including the Ashura Izuna Drop, Tornado Hell (generating small tornadoes), Snowflake Great Blooming (creating snowstorms), Water Rope (producing water webs), and Hell Canvas (summoning deceased Devil Knights). He can transform into part of Akuma Shogun's armor alongside other Devil Knights. During later arcs, he accessed "Burning Inner Strength" (Kajiba no Kuso Chikara), amplifying physical capabilities up to 100-fold and granting reactive power growth during combat. His resilience includes surviving near-decapitation and recovering from crushed faces via regeneration.
Personality-wise, Ashuraman despises weakness among Devil Chojin, exemplified by decapitating the failed Seven Devil Chojin and stealing their arms. However, he harbors a conflicted softer side, often suppressing emotions he deems weak. His loyalty to General Devil and the Six Devil Knights is absolute, yet his bond with Sunshine remains his most profound relationship, marked by moments of vulnerability and mutual dependence despite their ideological clashes.
