Description
Queen Sayuri Kinniku, identified by the katakana ママ on her forehead and often called Mama, reigns as the 57th Queen of Planet Kinniku and wife of King Mayumi Kinniku. She is mother to Ataru and Suguru Kinniku (Kinnikuman) and grandmother to Mantaro Kinniku. Originating from Planet Kinniku, she is a Seigi Choujin possessing a Choujin Kyoudo of 600,000 Power. Her signature abilities are Enlargement and the innate Kinniku Beam, a light-based attack of her clan.
A vacation to Earth with Mayumi went awry when a pig stowed away on their ship, causing them to accidentally jettison baby Suguru onto Earth. Years later, she welcomed Suguru back to Planet Kinniku and implored him to reclaim Mayumi's championship belt from King Ton. When Suguru shirked his duties and refused to battle kaiju, she adopted his likeness using Enlargement to fight in his stead, vanquishing one kaiju with the Kinniku Beam to restore his reputation. Sayuri embodies a dual nature: typically a patient, devoted mother, she transforms into a fervent, sometimes violent supporter during her son's matches, even compelling Mayumi to demonstrate wrestling techniques for Suguru.
During the Survivor Match for the Kinniku Throne, she attended Suguru's coronation. The ceremony was disrupted by the God of Intelligence revealing five other claimants existed due to a hospital fire at Suguru's birth. Tasked with deciding the fight order for the ensuing tournament to identify the true prince, she cut her arm and spilled her blood onto a white flag. The blood formed a map of Japan where the swords thrown by the six contenders landed, designating their battle arenas. The blood loss caused her to faint. Throughout the tournament, she and Mayumi privately recognized their estranged eldest son, Ataru, who had fled during her pregnancy with Suguru, resenting strict royal training. Subsequently, Mammothman kidnapped Sayuri and Mayumi, holding them hostage bound to chairs until freed following Suguru's victory. She is deceased by the time of *Kinnikuman Nisei*, leaving Mayumi a widower.
