Yōko Matsuoka is a Japanese actress, voice actress, and narrator from Tokyo. Her career in the entertainment industry began in the early 1970s, and she remains active. She is affiliated with the talent agency 81 Produce.

One of Matsuoka's most significant and recognizable roles is the title character Kitarō in the fourth anime series of GeGeGe no Kitarō, which aired in 1996. She also voiced the character in several theatrical films related to that series, including GeGeGe no Kitarō: Daikaijū, GeGeGe no Kitarō: Obake Nighter, and GeGeGe no Kitarō: Yōkai Tokkyū! Maboroshi no Kisha. Her portrayal of this beloved yōkai boy is a key part of her extensive filmography.

Across her long career, Matsuoka has played a wide variety of characters in numerous long-running and classic anime series. She is well known to fans of One Piece for providing the voice of the pirate Alvida, also known as Alvida the Mace, a role she has reprised for the main series as well as the film One Piece Stampede. In the world of mecha anime, she voiced Karl Lichter von Randoll in several entries of the Future GPX Cyber Formula franchise, including the original series, Cyber Formula 11, Cyber Formula Zero, and Early Days Renewal.

Her other notable television animation roles include Daichi Haruka in Madō King Granzort and its subsequent films and specials, Ginga Izumo in Gear Fighter Dendoh, Kenta Sanada in GoShogun, Kōsuke Ochi in Hikaru no Go, and Queen Metaria in Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon Crystal. She also played the role of Grandma in the series Spiritpact and Maria Graceburt in My-Otome and its prequel OVA My-Otome 0~S.ifr~.
