Yōko Matsuoka is a Japanese actress, voice actress, and narrator from Tokyo. Her career in the entertainment industry began in the early 1970s, and she remains active. She is affiliated with the talent agency 81 Produce.
One of Matsuoka's most significant and recognizable roles is the title character Kitarō in the fourth anime series of GeGeGe no Kitarō, which aired in 1996. She also voiced the character in several theatrical films related to that series, including GeGeGe no Kitarō: Daikaijū, GeGeGe no Kitarō: Obake Nighter, and GeGeGe no Kitarō: Yōkai Tokkyū!
