Later, a rogue monster breaks through the academy's outer barrier and attacks the training grounds. Nina and several senior trainees engage the creature, but their attacks prove ineffective. Arika, separated from the group, prays for protection when the monster corners her. Her blue GEM unexpectedly activates, partially materializing a robe and releasing a burst of energy that drives the monster away. Arika resolves to practice controlling her robe. The episode closes with Mashiro ordering a new assignment: Arika must serve as her personal guard during the upcoming Wind Bloom festival.

Nina Wang holds the top rank among Corals and demonstrates superior dance and materialization skills during a class exhibition. The academy announces the Coral Competition,a dance contest where the winner receives a Coral GEM and advances toward becoming a Meister Otome. Arika decides to enter the competition despite lacking formal training and having unstable control over her robe materialization. Sergay assists Arika with practice, emphasizing precise footwork and energy management. On the day of the competition, Nina performs a flawless routine, fully materializing her Robe and earning high scores from the judges. Arika executes a raw, energetic dance that shows strong willpower but lacks technical refinement. The judges award the Coral GEM to Nina based on her superior execution and consistency. The headmistress notes Arika's potential and permits her to continue her studies at Garderobe instead of facing expulsion. Arika expresses disappointment in losing but resolves to train harder. The episode reveals that an anonymous person who knew Arika's mother has begun sending Arika money and letters. This secret benefactor provides Arika with the funds she needs to continue her studies.
