Description
Gorm, the youthful lookout stationed in the crow’s nest of Halvar’s Viking ship, scans the horizon for threats with uneven success. Though tasked with vigilance, his distractible nature and occasional mid-duty naps frequently force crewmates to spot dangers before he does.

Compact at 5’2”, he sports poofy brown hair, keen grey eyes, and a crimson overtunic over dark leather pants. A circular-buckled belt cinches his waist, while a cyan jewel pendant edged in gold glints against his chest. His squeaky voice punctuates an ever-enthusiastic demeanor, often erupting in gleeful leaps and cries of “I am delighted!”

Cheerfully curious yet guileless, Gorm obeys even dubious commands—like blindly trusting a pirate’s trick—yet flashes sly retorts when pressed. He dodges confrontation unless cornered, preferring wit over force. Bonds center on Vic, Urobe, and Faxe, with rare engagement beyond this trio.

While consistently portrayed as optimistic and duty-bound, some adaptations, including a reboot, reimagine his role as navigator. His traits remain fixed across stories: reliably earnest within his role’s narrow scope, unchanging in wide-eyed spirit.
