Description
EnRyu operates as the GGG Super-AI Vehicle Machine designated GBR-3. Developed among the initial mobile units alongside his counterpart HyoRyu, he transforms between a firetruck vehicle mode and a humanoid robot form. His design embodies a fire-based motif, reflecting his name meaning "Flame Dragon."
In robot configuration, EnRyu deploys integrated systems: a Chest Warmer for thermal assaults, a Melting Gun firing concentrated heat beams, and a Mirror Coating Shield absorbing and redirecting energy attacks. His signature Power Ladder functions as an extending rescue ladder, a detachable tonfa for close combat, and a ranged weapon platform. A shoulder-mounted crane apparatus initially housed a Melting Rifle; retrofitting upgraded this weapon to fire Ul-Tech beams. This modification enabled projection of bolts infused with "THE POWER," a mysterious energy harnessed after exposure to amplified G-Stone energy.
EnRyu's artificial intelligence manifests a brash, impulsive, and headstrong personality, frequently charging into combat without extensive planning. This contrasts HyoRyu's cautious demeanor, sparking regular arguments. A persistent operational quirk involves EnRyu's difficulty executing proper landings after aerial deployment, attributed to his physical construction or Mirror Shield weight distribution. This issue endured through many sorties, though he later demonstrated improved landing capability during critical missions like stabilizing a falling elevator car.
Initially, EnRyu experienced instability during System Change transformations between modes. This limitation resolved when Mamoru Amami's G-Stone energy amplified his G-S Ride system output to 200%, enabling reliable transformation. His combat role expanded via Symmetrical Docking: combining with HyoRyu forms ChouRyuJin, where EnRyu's components constitute the upper torso and his shield becomes chest armor. Furthermore, Cross-Symmetrical Docking with FuuRyu creates GouRyuJin, achievable when both units channel "THE POWER" harvested from Jupiter. In this formation, EnRyu contributes to GouRyuJin's primary Burning Hurricane attack, capable of synchronizing with GenRyuJin's Thunder Blizzard for the Maximum Tou Long technique.
EnRyu participated in major conflicts against the Zonders and Machine Primevals. His series development reflects incremental enhancements like the Ul-Tech retrofit and adaptability in combined formations under high-stress scenarios. Despite initial flaws, his resilience and combat effectiveness remain integral to GGG operations.
