OVA
Description
Sabato Mihashigo arrives from the future as an angel assassin of the Lulutie order (also spelled Rurutie), assigned to kill Sakura Kusakabe. Heaven demands Sakura's elimination to prevent his future invention of technology that stops female aging at twelve. This mission directly conflicts with Dokuro Mitsukai's role as Sakura's protector.

She wields an electric shock baton named Durandal, reputed to instantly char blue whales. Sabato frequently employs seduction, feigning innocence and vulnerability to lure Sakura before attacking. After repeated assassination failures, she descends into extreme poverty, notably residing inside a small cardboard box beneath a bridge, with her living expenses obtained through unspecified means. Despite their opposing goals regarding Sakura, she maintains a friendship with Dokuro, often spending time together outside their conflicts.

Her appearance features ram horns, light blonde hair, and purple eyes. Every sentence she speaks ends with "desu." The manga occasionally depicts her in an Elegant Gothic Lolita style. A key revelation identifies her mother as Babel Mihashigo, chairman of Lulutie. Babel personally commands the operation to eliminate Sakura and forbids Sabato's return to the future until she succeeds.

Sabato's circumstances deteriorate further, especially in the second season OVAs. She appears disheveled and dirty while living near a riverbank and suffers allergic reactions, including hallucinations, after consuming a "Binkan Salary Man Sausage." She participates in group activities, such as joining Dokuro, Zakuro, and Sakura in a cramped bath after an invitation, resulting in chaotic situations. While primarily an assassin, certain actions suggest she may intend to end Sakura's perpetual suffering at Dokuro's hands, hinting at an underlying kindness beneath her mission-driven violence.

Her character arc shifts from persistent antagonist to a more comedic and tragic figure, emphasizing her impoverished existence and ongoing misfortunes while she retains her core objective and complex relationships with the main cast.
