Description
Kaito Forland is the prince of the Forland Kingdom and the older brother of Princess Alita, being eight years her senior. A skilled swordsman known for his kindness, he departed on a diplomatic mission to negotiate peace with the neighboring nation of Grandel. He vanished during this mission, leaving his fate shrouded in mystery.
He later resurfaces as the enigmatic and menacing Dark Knight, Kuroi Kishi, clad in heavy dark armor and accompanied by the sorceress Cecilia. This return marks a dramatic departure from his benevolent past, casting him as a primary antagonist.
As the Dark Knight, his actions are driven by a profound disillusionment with humanity. He believes the world is irredeemable due to its endless cycle of wars and seeks to acquire Teoria, a powerful relic of lost technology, to enact global destruction—viewing this as a merciful end to a corrupt world.
His relationship with his sister Alita turns adversarial. He confronts her and the bounty hunter Falis, who has switched bodies with Alita. While indications suggest he may be under external influence or brainwashing from Cecilia, his actions are not fully reversed after her defeat.
