Description
King, also called Harlequin, serves as the Fairy King and a member of the Seven Deadly Sins, marked by the Sin of Sloth symbolized by a grizzly. Once ruler of the Fairy Realm, he abandoned his throne to pursue his corrupted friend Helbram. His Spirit Spear Chastiefol, forged from the Fairy Realm’s sacred tree, shifts forms to unleash both attacks and defenses.

Elaine’s elder brother, King bitterly blamed Ban for her supposed death, fueling his alliance with Holy Knights against Ban during the Capital of the Dead conflict. Discovering Elaine’s spirit bound to Ban via the Fountain of Youth mended their rift, altering King’s outlook.

During the Holy War, King transformed from an isolated guardian burdened by grudges into an empathetic leader. His fully manifested wings, emblematic of his maturity as Fairy King, emerged in clashes against Mael, unlocking heightened powers such as deploying multiple True Spirit Spear forms and detecting adversaries’ emotional strife. Choosing mercy over retribution, he spared Mael to disrupt chains of vengeance, embodying his evolved grasp of compassion.

King’s past guarding the Fairy King’s Forest and witnessing Helbram’s fall into darkness seeded his wariness of outsiders. Bonds with Diane, a fellow Sin, softened his rigidity, exposing his battles with vulnerability and trust. His journey traces a shift from solitary protector to a leader harmonizing duty and growth, resolving conflicts through empathy while safeguarding allies in a world rife with strife.
