Yoku Hokke is the third oldest among the five Hokke sisters, situated between Maika and Kanashi. Following their parents' death, the sisters live in poverty; their parents belonged to an evil organization. To fulfill their father's dying wish for them to become "excellent evil," they form the Gedou Otome Tai team under the imp Akumako's guidance.

Yoku possesses a tomboyish personality, distinct from her sisters. As part of the team's magical abilities aligned with individual elemental affinities (Otone: water, Maika: fire, Yoku: earth, Kanashi: wood, Utano: light), she commands earth-based powers.

Despite their goal of committing evil deeds, Yoku and her sisters consistently fail due to their inherently kind nature. Their actions inadvertently help others, leading them to be mistakenly perceived as heroes. This role reversal recurs, with their villainous attempts resulting in positive outcomes.

Yoku participates in the team's transformation sequences and coordinated attacks, which parody conventional magical girl tropes. Their schemes, such as reviving kaiju or invading broadcast stations, invariably backfire, reinforcing their unintended heroic image.
