TV-Series
Description
Geld holds the title of Orc King and commands the Second Corps of Tempest's military, a dual-role force tasked with national defense and spearheading construction and manufacturing. He also stands as one of the Twelve Guardian Lords, protectors of Rimuru Tempest and the Jura Tempest Federation.

His large orc frame is typically clad in loose pants and a substantial black cloak, accented by a necklace featuring three tooth-like ornaments. A distinctive mohawk sets him apart from other orcs.

Geld embodies seriousness and an intense work ethic. Haunted by deep guilt over his tribe's actions during the Orc Lord Incident under his father, this remorse once drove him to plead for death as atonement. His resilience stems from enduring famine, drought, and harsh winters alongside his father. Though initially plagued by self-doubt about his leadership, support from Rimuru and his tribe fostered growing confidence and a more relaxed demeanor. He retains a stubborn streak and deeply respects Rimuru as a kind, carefree, and just leader, seeing him as a normal person rather than an idol.

He exhibits strong paternal instincts, frequently seen interacting with and carrying Tempest's children, making him popular among the youth. Gentle with friends and family, he becomes merciless against enemies, sharing Rimuru's conviction that betraying a friend is the gravest sin. His loyalty extends to a developing brotherly bond with Phobio.

As son and right-hand general to the previous Orc Lord, Geld survived the orc invasion of Jura Forest and his father's defeat. He represented the orc survivors in post-war negotiations. After swearing allegiance to Rimuru Tempest, he was named Orc King and evolved into the role.

Managing prisoners from Clayman's campaign, Geld initially conflicted over harsh treatment, disliking their laziness and lack of communication. Rimuru advised treating them like his own tribespeople, revealing Geld's hypocrisy. This guidance led Geld to recognize the prisoners, like his orcs once, had nowhere else to go. Motivated by the orcs' near extinction from starvation, he ensures no Tempest resident goes hungry.

In battle, like his confrontation with Shogo Taguchi, he displays relentless determination. The movie "Scarlet Bond" depicts intense shame over his tribe's past actions against the ogre village causing him to waver, nearly accepting death from Hiiro until Benimaru intervened. This moment shows him close to tears, bowing respectfully to the Kijin afterward.

He appears in the spin-off "The Slime Diaries," focused on daily life in Tempest. His name, "Geld," originated from Gelmud, who derived it by removing a syllable from his own name.
