This demeanor effectively lowers suspicion, masking her true role as an infiltrator for the antagonistic Chaos Choir, reporting directly to agent Gladius. Her mission involves spying on the group and driving a wedge between Coud and the Edel Raid Reverie Metherlence (Ren).

Viro is a Sting Raid, an artificially created Edel Raid, facing significant societal prejudice on Volcyone where Sting Raids are deemed worthless. She claims her transformation stemmed from a desire to bond (react) with Coud, whom she idolizes, though this forms part of her cover story. Gladius manipulates her by exploiting her deep-seated insecurities and feelings of inferiority about her artificial nature to ensure she executes Chaos Choir's objectives.

During her time embedded with the group, Viro develops genuine romantic feelings for Coud, creating intense internal conflict over her mission. This turmoil causes hesitation, particularly in her task of sabotaging Coud and Ren's relationship.
