Description
Vladilena Milizé, known as Lena, hails from the former noble Milizé household in the Republic of San Magnolia. A pure-blooded Alba of the Celena lineage, she possesses striking silver hair and eyes, standing at 160 centimeters tall but often appearing taller due to her footwear. Her double ahoge hairstyle is a notable feature.

A defining childhood event occurred at age 10 when her father, Vaclav Milizé, took her to observe the Eastern Front. Their scout plane was shot down by Legion forces, killing Vaclav. Lena was rescued by Eighty-Six pilot Shourei Nouzen, who shielded her from the Legion and shared his reasons for fighting. This encounter fundamentally shaped her worldview, driving her to dedicate herself to the Eighty-Six's cause. She accelerated through school, graduating top of her class and joining the Republic Army. By 16, she attained the rank of Major, the youngest in her training group.

Assigned as Handler to the Spearhead Squadron on the Eastern Front, she communicated with its members—including squad leader Shinei Nouzen—via Para-RAID. Unlike other Handlers, she treated the Eighty-Six as equals, maintaining daily contact and forging bonds despite peers ridiculing her for acknowledging those deemed subhuman. Her tactical skill enabled effective combat data analysis, predicting Legion reinforcement rates and providing artillery support that lowered squadron casualties. She sometimes deployed interception cannons without authorization to aid them, drawing superiors' disapproval.

After Spearhead Squadron departed on a special reconnaissance mission, Lena underwent change. She dyed a red streak in her hair as a memorial and adopted a black military uniform variant symbolizing mourning. Her leadership grew increasingly demanding during this period, earning her the moniker "Bloody Reina" (a play on her name and "Bloodstained Queen") among Processors. She saw the name as self-deprecation, reflecting guilt over sending soldiers to die, despite her squadrons maintaining the lowest fatality rates.

Following the Republic's large-scale offensive and the Gran Mur's fall, she was demoted one rank but later promoted to Colonel at age 18. She represented the Republic as tactical commander of the Eighty-Sixth Strike Package. Her reputation evolved from the mocked "drone-loving princess" to the respected "Queen of the Eighty-Six" among former Republic soldiers and Federacy personnel. She reverted to her standard uniform and removed the red hair streak at Shinei Nouzen's request.

Personality-wise, she exhibits strong idealism and moral principles, rejecting her mother's focus on noble status and marriage for military service. Her sheltered upbringing left her naive about societal consequences for expressing unpopular ideals, and she lacks basic life skills like sewing. She is easily frightened by rodents, spiders, and ghosts. Despite her nobility, she employs pragmatic methods—guilt-tripping, bribery, and physical threats—to achieve goals. Her leadership blends empathy with authority, forging a close bond with Shinei Nouzen that becomes romantic.

Her abilities include exceptional tactical command and data analysis, honed through rapid military advancement. She pilots the "Vanadis" command vehicle, named for the Norse goddess Freyja—a figure sharing mythological parallels through her relationship with Shinei (embodying Odin-like traits) and her guard unit, the Brísingamen Squadron. Her personal mark is the silhouette of a woman in a crimson dress, symbolizing her Bloody Reina identity.

Trivia notes include her low alcohol tolerance, use of violet flower-scented perfume, and proficiency in playing the clarinet. She shares similarities with Leila Malcal from *Code Geass: Akito the Exiled*, including noble background, command of marginalized soldiers, and relationships with ace pilots.
