Description
Momo, a guardian angel originally incarnated as a squirrel monkey, was born December 1, 1992. Her curious, adventurous spirit frequently led to mischief at the pet shop she called home, vexing its owner. A young girl, forbidden by her parents from owning pets, formed a bond with Momo during secret visits. Goro Mutsumi, a part-time shop employee, discreetly enlisted the girl’s help in caring for Momo until her parents intervened, severing their connection. Lonely and desperate, Momo escaped during a storm, scaling an electric pole where she tragically died from electrocution—a trauma that severed her tail and instilled lifelong fears of technology and electricity.

Reborn as a guardian angel, Momo embodies shyness and fragility, her demeanor marked by quiet politeness and emotional sensitivity. She shuns confrontation, mediating conflicts among peers like fellow angels Lulu and Nana with gentle honesty, their bonds enduring despite frequent squabbles. Yuki, an older angel, becomes a maternal anchor for Momo, offering solace during moments of distress.

As she matures, Momo shoulders greater responsibility, concealing her celestial identity by posing alongside Lulu and Nana as Goro’s adopted daughters. Navigating early adolescence, she wrestles with unfamiliar emotions, including a burgeoning crush on human classmate Daisuke. Initially mistaking her feelings for loyalty akin to her devotion to Goro, she slowly acknowledges her romantic attraction, though its outcome remains uncertain.

Her journey centers on balancing personal growth—facing fears of technology, embracing vulnerability—with unwavering compassion, prioritizing the protection of those she loves within the confines of her primary role.
