Description
Hitomi Tsukishiro is a 17-year-old witch descendant in 2078 afflicted by achromatopsia, rendering her world monochromatic. This condition coincides with emotional withdrawal, fostering social isolation and disinterest in relationships. Her grandmother, Kohaku Tsukishiro, intervenes with the Stardust Clock, sending Hitomi 60 years into the past to 2018. The goal is for Hitomi to meet Kohaku's teenage self and potentially recover her color vision.

Physically, Hitomi has waist-length silver hair with bangs swept right and dark-yellow eyes. In her original timeline, she wears a modified Minamigaoka High uniform: a white collared shirt with a turquoise bow tie and skirt. In 2018, she adopts contemporary attire, including a pink sweater over a white blouse and skirt while staying at the Tsukishiro magic shop.

Initially reserved, timid, and cynical, Hitomi avoids social interactions, believing herself unworthy of affection. She harbors a strong aversion to her magical heritage, linking it to negative feelings. Her color blindness intensifies this detachment, making her world appear bleak and emotionally barren.

Her experiences in 2018 trigger significant change. Enrolling at Minamigaoka High, she joins the Magic Photography Arts Club. Interactions with its members slowly draw her from isolation. A pivotal development occurs when club member Yuito Aoi's drawings inexplicably restore her ability to see colors, sparking curiosity and emotional reawakening. Collaborative club activities—preparing for the school festival, creating magical "star-sand" spell granules, and participating in photo shoots—lead her to tentatively use magic again, primarily to bring others joy.

Relationships profoundly shape her transformation. Kohaku's younger self becomes a close friend and mentor, encouraging Hitomi to embrace her magic. Her bond with Yuito deepens into mutual, though unspoken, affection. Club president Shou Yamabuki confesses romantic feelings, but Hitomi declines due to her connection with Yuito; they maintain a supportive friendship. Interactions with other members like Asagi Kazeno and Kurumi Kawai further reinforce her sense of belonging.

As her stay concludes, temporal instability causes her to intermittently fade, increasing the urgency to resolve her emotional and magical blockages. During the school festival, she openly expresses gratitude to her friends, solidifying her emotional recovery. Returning to 2078, she regains full color vision, symbolizing restored emotional capacity. She visits Yuito’s grave, acknowledging his impact and confirming the enduring significance of their bond.

Her journey resolves her self-imposed isolation and magic aversion, replacing them with confidence and a renewed appreciation for relationships and shared experiences.
