Description
Luna Rossa functions as an intelligence liaison embedded within the Muge Zorbados Empire's military. Her core duties involve gathering vital intelligence and enabling operations for the invading forces. After former Earth military commander Shapiro Keats defects to the Muge Empire, Luna Rossa receives a specific assignment to support his command activities. She develops authentic romantic feelings for Shapiro during this time, actively assisting his tactical maneuvers even when they disrupt or embarrass other Muge generals, including Death Gaia, Gildorome, and Helmut.

As Shapiro grows progressively obsessed with attaining godlike power, Luna Rossa perceives her affections are not returned. This understanding triggers a decisive change in loyalty. She turns against the Muge Empire by helping the protagonists' ally, Sara Yuki, locate and confront Shapiro during a crucial mission at a Mars auxiliary base. This act of betrayal severs her connection to the empire entirely.

In the series finale, Luna Rossa attempts to flee the conflict, heading toward the Muge homeworld. Her departure aligns with the final battle against Emperor Muge Zorbados. While traveling, her spacecraft becomes ensnared in the sonic wake produced by the protagonists' mecha, Dancouga, leading to the vessel's destruction and her death.

Her background prior to Muge Empire service remains undocumented. She makes no appearance in sequel OVAs such as "God Bless Dancouga" or "Blazing Epilogue." The 2007 series "Dancouga Nova" also features no narrative link to her character.
