Miya Igarashi, a high school student with a delinquent past linked to a girl gang, becomes Kazuya Hasukawa's girlfriend by the series' end. Her mother strongly opposes this relationship, pushing instead for Miya to be with childhood friend Tenma Koizumi. Miya defies her mother's wishes, choosing Kazuya. Their romance is central to her character development, significantly deepening after Kazuya protects her from a vicious girl gang attack. Miya is also friends with Mitsuru Ikeda, a main resident of Greenwood dormitory.
