Raifan serves as a young apprentice spiritualist marked by a moody disposition. She holds strong devotion to Obier and strives to emulate her role model, Aderishia. Her magical skills remain basic, consistent with her novice status, favoring elemental spells tied to the wind spirit Sylph and the light spirit Valkyrie.

After Lord Haven's assassination in Da'nan, Raifan accompanies the falsely accused Obier in pursuit of Redon's group into Crystania. Disregarding warnings, she follows Redon's party through the opening in the Gods' Wall created by Barbas, entering the sacred land. Witnessing Obier aid Redon against followers of Rumiss, she joins their group.

Raifan aids the party against Boakes and Sheru. Her sensitivity to magical disturbances enables her to perceive the malevolent energy from Barbas's red lights alongside Aderishia. Later, Barbas's attack on Fang of the Animal village results in her capture alongside Aderishia and Kwairde by Garudi. Demonstrating resourcefulness, she orchestrates a prison break with Boakes and Kwairde within Dayton Castle.

During the assault on Dayton Castle, Raifan confronts Garudi on a bridge with Boakes and Kwairde after their escape, fighting directly against Barbas's forces. Her actions contribute to the group's push toward Barbas's throne room to challenge the Gods' King.
