Adriana Libretti is an Italian voice actress, stage and screen actress, and writer, born in Milan on July 20, 1954. Her career is deeply rooted in theatrical performance, having graduated in philosophy before earning a diploma from the Scuola di Teatro del Teatro Arsenale in Milan, where she studied under Kuniaki Ida and Marina Spreafico using the Jacques Lecoq method. She further honed her craft as a student at the Scuola Nazionale di Drammaturgia in Gioia dei Marsi, directed by the renowned writer Dacia Maraini. This extensive training laid the foundation for a prolific career in dubbing, as well as for her own work as a stage actress and playwright, where she has written and performed in numerous productions since her debut at the Teatro Arsenale.

As a voice actress, Libretti has lent her voice to a wide array of characters in anime series, soap operas, and video games, becoming a familiar presence to Italian audiences. Among her most notable and enduring roles is Castalia, the Silver Saint of the Eagle, in the popular anime series I Cavalieri dello zodiaco (Saint Seiya). She reprised this role across multiple installments of the franchise, including I Cavalieri dello zodiaco - Saint Seiya - Hades and the film Saint Seiya - I Cavalieri dello zodiaco. Her association with the world of fantasy anime also includes voicing Raifan in both Legend of Crystania - The Motion Picture and its OAV sequel, Legend of Crystania: The Chaos Ring.

Libretti's voice can be heard in many other animated series that aired in Italy. She voiced Becky in Huckleberry Finn Monogatari and Emi in Tama and Friends. Her repertoire includes characters in classic stories, such as Mary in Pollyanna, Margherita in Lovely Sara, and Trombetta in Peter Pan.
