OVA
Description
Silver Hakaider operates within the Hakaider Squad, a trio of android enforcers directly serving Gill-Hakaider, the android housing Professor Gill's transplanted brain. This squad was forged by integrating the brains of deceased DARK scientists into android bodies to execute Gill's ambitions. Silver works alongside Red and Blue Hakaider under their leader's command.

His core mission is capturing Akira, Professor Gill's son, who carries the blueprints for the Giant Devil superweapon tattooed on his back. Silver actively participates in numerous missions to abduct Akira, repeatedly clashing with the protective android Kikaider 01 and his ally, the original Kikaider (Jiro).

In combat, Silver wields an Electron Staff and transforms into the specialized monster form Silver Shrimp. This form grants him pincer claw hands and the ability to convert his body into substances like blood or cake for evasion or infiltration. He also unleashes the Rolling Mine technique, curling into a destructive high-speed ball. One mission saw him take a young girl hostage, exploiting her mother's concern to divert Kikaider 01 and facilitate Akira's capture.

As part of the Hakaider Squad's ultimate strategy, Silver combines with Red and Blue Hakaider, plus Gill-Hakaider, to form the composite robot Gattaider. Gattaider wields enhanced capabilities including flight, teleportation, missile projection, and a mentally controlled boomerang. Though Gattaider temporarily overwhelmed Kikaider 01, the combined efforts of Kikaider and Kikaider 01 secured its defeat. Following this, Silver and his squadmates detonated themselves, creating a diversion that enabled Gill-Hakaider's escape.

In the OVA "Kikaider 01: The Animation", Silver Hakaider pursues Akira once more alongside his squad under Gill-Hakaider's command. This iteration reduces his narrative prominence, focusing more on action sequences alongside his counterparts without significant individual development or backstory expansion. His role concludes with the squad's collective destruction during their efforts to advance Gill's plans.

No official media provides details about Silver Hakaider's creation beyond his DARK scientist origins, his specific human identity prior to becoming an android, or any personal motivations beyond serving Gill-Hakaider's objectives. His character remains defined by his function within the squad and his specialized combat abilities.
