Eddie Frierson

Eddie Frierson is an American voice actor and writer with a career spanning from the 1980s to the present, during which he has become a familiar presence in English dubs of anime, as well as in animated films and video games. Originally from Nashville, Tennessee, Frierson began providing voices for anime series and movies in the 1980s, establishing himself within the voice acting community in Los Angeles.
He is known for several prominent roles in the early days of anime localization. In the 1994 Streamline Pictures dub of the film Farewell to Space Battleship Yamato, he voiced the character Mark Venture. He took on the lead role of Yakumo Fujii in Streamline's English adaptation of the OVA series 3x3 Eyes, a role he later reprised for the second OVA series, 3x3 Eyes: Legend of the Divine Demon, when it was dubbed by Orion Pictures in 1996. For the OVA series Kikaider-01: The Animation, released in the early 2000s, Frierson provided the voice for the character Silver Hakaider. He also voiced the iconic hero Ken the Eagle (G-1) in Harmony Gold's English dub of the 1994 Gatchaman OVA.
His extensive anime filmography includes a wide range of other notable credits. He voiced Tombo in the Streamline Pictures dub of Kiki's Delivery Service, Kai Shiden in the Mobile Suit Gundam movie trilogy, Eledore Massis in Mobile Suit Gundam: The 08th MS Team, Datamon in Digimon Adventure, and Lynn Kyle in Robotech: The Macross Saga. He also played Mamoru Takamura in the English adaptation of Hajime no Ippo and Sheriff in the beloved series Trigun.
