His mundane existence shifts when his girlfriend Natsu—secretly a Japanese princess residing in Russia—bestows upon him an ancient Japanese sword. Oblivious to its significance as a betrothal gift binding him to an ancient pact that demands marriage to Natsu, he accepts it eagerly.

This act ignites supernatural forces, spiriting Galan and others to Natsu’s hidden kingdom, where attackers relentlessly pursue the sword. Despite his initial combat ineptitude, spastic tendencies, and foolish behavior, he gradually cultivates a protective instinct toward the blade, forging an alliance with a group of female companions to shield it.
