Pipin is a determined candidate competing to become a magical girl on Earth by collecting twelve hanamaru stamps through contests and battles in Sweetland. Her first encounter with Padudu happens during Pipin's fight with another opponent; after Pipin wins, Padudu accidentally falls onto her, resulting in Padudu receiving the hanamaru stamp Pipin anticipated winning. This event leads Pipin to declare Padudu her lifelong rival, viewing it as a theft of her achievement.

Over time, Pipin travels with Padudu, and their relationship shifts from adversarial to cooperative, though Pipin maintains a competitive spirit. She eventually forms an alliance with Padudu and another candidate, Myumyu. Pipin wears a distinctive bunny girl costume and has a rabbit companion that serves as her backpack.

Within the group, Pipin participates in magical contests and tests, including a star-granting event where the trio unintentionally causes catastrophic damage to Earth while attempting to fulfill wishes. Pipin does not appear in the darker-toned OVA or the Showa arc. Her character development focuses on her evolving dynamic with Padudu, transitioning from rivalry to partnership.
