Description
Bikky was born to an unknown white mother and Dick Goldman, a late African American narcotics transporter. He endured early trauma when his father was murdered during a drug deal. Facing potential foster care or orphanage placement afterward, he was adopted by Detective Randy "Ryo" Maclean and lived with him. His bi-racial Caucasian and African American heritage formed a key part of his identity.

He inherited blond hair from his mother but disliked it due to lengthy drying times and childhood teasing. Typically, he tied it in a small ponytail and concealed it under a backward baseball cap. Frequently seen on roller skates, he demonstrated high proficiency using them for evasion or hiding objects.

Independent and defiant, Bikky adhered to his own rules, respecting only favored authority figures. Despite academic challenges, he showed quick thinking in crises—like clinging to an unconscious ally during abduction to ensure joint rescue. A restless sleeper, his involuntary movements often disturbed bedmates. After adoption, he engaged in petty crimes such as stealing bicycle wheels but stopped following Ryo’s stern warning.

His relationships were complex. He viewed Ryo with deep affection as a paternal or fraternal figure but harbored intense dislike for Dee Laytner, Ryo’s partner, due to Dee’s romantic pursuit of Ryo. This animosity stemmed from protective instincts toward Ryo, discomfort with Dee’s womanizing past, and unfamiliarity with homosexuality. Over time, his antagonism softened into a "loving to hate" dynamic, though he persistently interfered in their relationship. He maintained a close friendship with Carol, three years his senior.

Bikky played a pivotal role in avenging his father by withholding drugs his father had stolen, concealed in his roller skates. During abduction by his father’s murderers, he retained the drugs until police intervention, providing critical evidence for their arrest.
