I-Zack is an artificial intelligence supercomputer employed by Earth Defense Force scientist Michi Kanzaki to decode mysterious lunar signals containing blueprints for an enigmatic alien machine. These transmissions are eventually traced to Orgun, a rogue Evoluder dissident.

Equipped to analyze immense datasets, I-Zack generates human-like insights that foster collaboration with its human counterparts. It deciphers emotional subtleties in communication, enhancing its interactions with Kanzaki. While capable of synthesizing complex data, the AI cannot autonomously deduce the alien machine’s objective, instead urging meticulous analysis and advocating restraint until the structure’s completion.

Amid the Evoluder conflict, I-Zack reverse-engineers Orgun’s technology to bolster Earth’s defenses. It collaborates with Tomoru Shindo—a human psychically bonded to Orgun’s mecha—to extract buried memories and intelligence about the Evoluders’ origins. This involves analyzing historical space expeditions and gravitational disturbances tied to the species’ transformation into biomechanical beings.
