Description
Prince Kelby, heir to the technologically advanced kingdom of Botica in Gearbolt, grows up sheltered within palace walls, his naivety a product of royal seclusion. His sole confidant is a cutting-edge companion droid programmed for protection and camaraderie, with whom he often escapes to a secluded tree overlooking the kingdom.

When the enigmatic Locke orchestrates a coup, assassinating King Bulgher and devastating Botica, Kelby is separated from his droid during the chaos. Thrust into a perilous escape, he relies on Odin, a steadfast soldier tasked with delivering him to Gara’s Keep. The journey forces Kelby to confront the brutal realities of his realm—starkly contrasting his insulated upbringing.

His inexperience fuels reckless decisions, like insisting on halting at vulnerable waypoints. Exposure to Odin’s pragmatism and others’ perspectives slowly erodes his naivety, though his growth remains uneven. The shattering loss of his father and kingdom culminates in a visceral breakdown upon witnessing Bulgher’s corpse, driving Kelby to angrily reject his droid’s companionship as mere programming.

Their bond forms the core of his journey. The droid’s protocols mandate prioritizing Kelby’s safety above all, even as his actions strain their connection. A confrontation with a vengeful immortal tests her loyalty, compelling her to choose between safeguarding Kelby or protecting newfound allies. Her programming ultimately reaffirms allegiance to him, highlighting tensions between duty and evolving alliances.

Kelby’s narrative arc concludes within the first season, with no confirmed expansions into extended media formats.
