Description
Talgia Hawkray was the former General of the King's army, replaced by Bazra due to their conflicting views on harnessing song for warfare. After his military service, he became the respected and beloved mayor of Dandela Village.

He discovered the infant Rin and adopted her, raising her with his biological grandchildren, Al and Mel. Knowing the kingdom abducted those with song-based powers for military use, Talgia strictly forbade Rin from singing, though he never explained his reasoning, making the ban seem harsh and arbitrary.

Talgia later confronted Bazra upon learning of Bazra's unethical weaponization of Finis's song abilities. Their conflict ended in a duel where Bazra used a technological invention to severely burn Talgia's right hand, forcing his retirement.

Talgia died when Bazra's forces attacked Dandela Village after witnessing Rin use her healing song to save Henry. During the assault, Talgia tried to protect Rin and Mel. While shielding Rin from flames, Mel sustained mortal injuries. Talgia perished alongside most villagers as the settlement burned to the ground.

He was depicted as elderly with facial hair, fitting his role as village elder and patriarch.
