Tensions peak when Free materializes as an adult woman seeking to possess Mako. This takeover is thwarted by Repress—Free's antithesis—who allies with Mako's boyfriend Kōji to confront the threat. Toshihiro Hirano (credited under name variations) crafted Mako's character design, while Narumi Kakinouchi handled animation direction for her episodes.
