Description
Tsubasa Kira leads the UTX High School idol group A-RISE, which she founded as a third-year student. She graduates during the anime series but continues to appear in media like *Love Live! The School Idol Movie*. A-RISE's significant popularity bolsters UTX High's reputation and attracts prospective students.

Her personality blends humility with competitiveness. Despite A-RISE's success, she expresses no attachment to fame and remains unconcerned about potential declines in their popularity. She consistently respects rival groups, particularly μ's, acknowledging their talent while affirming A-RISE's determination not to lose. This dynamic is evident when she supports μ's by offering them UTX's rooftop stage for their Love Live! preliminary performance.

Physically, Tsubasa is short (154 cm) with a slim build, golden shoulder-length hair, green eyes, and a distinctive forehead. Her image color in the *School Idol Festival* game is "Cool".

Tsubasa appears as both a rival and supporter to μ's. Her first appearance features her performing "Private Wars" on a UTX screen in Episode 1, inspiring Honoka Kosaka to form a school idol group. In Episode 12, she watches μ's perform "Snow halation" during the Love Live! finals and joins the audience calling for an encore. Recognizing μ's potential as rivals in Episode 3 of the second season, she personally invites them to perform at UTX, leading to a handshake agreement with Honoka to compete fairly. She later congratulates μ's on their preliminary victory and discusses their win with Honoka in Episode 10.

Her name carries symbolic meaning: "Tsubasa" means "wing" (翼), and "Kira" translates to "fine clothes" (綺羅). She performs two songs with A-RISE: "Private Wars" and "Shocking Party".
