Description
Malga Naruze is a student at Musashi Ariadust Academy and the 4th Special Agent of the Chancellor Board, specializing in Field Operations. She belongs to the witch race known as Techno-Hexen, originating from M.H.R.R., where she researched Technomagic with Margot Naito. Persecution forced them to flee to Musashi, joining fellow exiled witches to establish the Flying War Potential Witch Corps. They serve as messengers and transporters aboard the Quasi-Bahamut-class aerial vessel Musashi.
She possesses long straight black hair, blue eyes, and three pairs of dark wings. Her attire includes the standard Musashi Ariadust Academy uniform with a blue position armband, and a M.H.R.R.-themed White Mage uniform featuring a nurse-style cap, green ribbons, and a neckerchief.
Malga presents a calm, gentle demeanor, contrasting Margot's bubbly nature, but harbors a hidden "perverted" side tied to her hobby as a doujinshi artist, often creating works featuring classmate Tomo Asama. She prioritizes Margot above all. Their relationship evolved from tense coexistence in middle school to lovers after reconciling during one of Malga's birthdays. They now work together as couriers, participate in air races for income, and share a life goal that includes having children through adoption or magical reproduction.
Her abilities focus on White Magic, Weiss Techno, using positive energy for healing, acceleration, and fortification. She excels as a Magi Gunner and Remote Magic User, providing long-range support. Key techniques involve creating spatial drawings to deflect projectiles and Coin Bullet spells that transform currency into high-speed projectiles. She wields the Weiss Fräulein, a Strengthening Mechanical Shell resembling a large fountain pen, enhancing mobility and defense for aerial combat. Destroyed during the Armada Battle, it was upgraded for improved mobility and spatial-drawing capabilities for tactical marking. Her "Pinch Mode," triggered by deadlines, triples her efficiency and tension.
In combat, she and Margot fight as the aerial unit Zwei Fräulein, combining Black and White Magic synergistically. Their tactics proved effective against foes like Tres España's El Azul. Malga is less effective solo, suffering defeats against English forces like William Cecil and Robert Dudley when separated from Margot. During the England arc, she demonstrated resilience, damaging Francis Drake through layered Body Strengthening spells and countering Dudley's attacks by exhausting her ether reserves.
Her background reveals a deep bond with Margot, solidified through shared adversity and rebellion against oppression. They openly defy societal norms as a lesbian couple, with Malga frequently displaying physical affection like clinging to Margot's arm or sharing kisses. Their partnership extends professionally, Malga's strategic support complementing Margot's offensive prowess.
She grapples with feelings of inadequacy when unable to contribute in battle, evident after the Weiss Fräulein's temporary incapacity, but finds motivation through allies like Toussaint Neshinbara. Her growth includes moments of ingenuity, such as exploiting enemy weaknesses, and emotional vulnerability, particularly when Margot's safety is threatened.
